    Bowling booking software compared

Seven booking systems that bowling alleys in Europe use or consider, compared on the facts each supplier publishes on its own website. Checked on 17 October 2026.

How to choose a booking system

Start from how your alley works today, not from the longest feature list. These questions sort the options quickly:

    1. 1Do your customers book on their phones? Try the booking page on a phone before you decide.
    2. 2Do you want customers to pay when they book, at the venue, or both?
    3. 3Do you need a till (POS) and lane control in the same system, or do you already have them?
    4. 4Can your staff set the system up themselves, or do you want a project with the supplier?
    5. 5Which languages do your customers and staff use?
    6. 6Is the price published, and what is it based on: lanes, bookings or a fixed monthly fee?

    Comparison table

Each cell says what the supplier's own page states. "Not stated" means we did not find it on the page, not that the feature is missing. Ask the supplier before you decide.

    The systems one by one

    • Anolla

      Good for
Alleys that want to start free, set everything up themselves and offer a customer app in many languages.
      Consider
The bowling page does not mention glow bowling or name the POS systems it connects to. Ask about these if they matter to you.
    • Funbutler

      Good for
Entertainment venues that want lane bookings and a till in the same system, with a published starting price.
      Consider
Getting started goes through a demo, and Funbutler says setup typically takes about two weeks.
    • ROLLER

      Good for
Venues with several activities that want booking, POS and Conqueror X lane activation together.
      Consider
Prices are not shown on the website, and you start by talking to the ROLLER team.
    • anny

      Good for
Alleys that want a clear price per lane, a free plan to start with and in-person sales in the same tool.
      Consider
anny says a connection to your scoring system or lane equipment is not automatically included.
    • Clubspeed

      Good for
Larger entertainment centres that want a touchscreen till, kiosks and scoring displays from one supplier.
      Consider
Pricing is a custom quote, and the bowling page does not describe mobile booking or competitions.
    • QubicaAMF Conqueror

      Good for
Centres with QubicaAMF lane equipment that want management, POS and lane control from the same supplier.
      Consider
Online booking is a separate product (Conqueror Web & Kiosk), and prices are not published.

    Where Keilarata.fi fits

Keilarata.fi is a booking system made only for bowling alleys. It is built for alleys that want customers to book and pay on their phones and want to run the setup themselves.

    • Customers book a lane on their phone at any time and can pay online.
    • The alley sets up lanes, opening hours, prices and payments itself in the admin panel.
    • Glow bowling has its own times and prices in the same booking calendar.
    • Competitions take online registration and entry fees, also as recurring series.
    • In Finland it is one of the few bowling booking systems that is built for phones and takes payments online.

    Where Keilarata.fi does not fit

Choose another system, or use Keilarata.fi next to one, if you need these:

    • A till (POS) for shoes, food and drinks. Keilarata.fi has none.
    • Lane control or a connection to your scoring system. Keilarata.fi has neither.
    • League standings and scores. Competitions cover registration, payments and lanes only.
    • Instant sign-up. New alleys join through a waitlist, and we approve each alley before its booking page goes live.

    Frequently asked questions

What is the best booking system for a bowling alley?

It depends on what you need. If you want booking, a till and lane control from one supplier, look at the larger suites. If you mainly want customers to book and pay on their phones and want to set it up yourself, a lighter booking system is enough.

Does Keilarata.fi have a till (POS) or lane control?

No. Keilarata.fi handles bookings, payments, glow bowling and competitions. The till and the scoring system stay as they are.

    Which systems publish their prices?

On 17 October 2026, anny published its prices, Funbutler a starting price and Anolla a free plan. The others work by quote or did not show prices. Keilarata.fi publishes its prices: Perus 59 € and Pro 119 € a month plus VAT.

Can I set up a booking system myself?

Anolla and anny offer self-serve sign-up. With Keilarata.fi the alley does the setup itself after its account is approved. The others start with a demo or a sales contact.

    How were these facts collected?

From each supplier's own public website on 17 October 2026. Where a page did not say something, the table says "Not stated". Every source is listed on this page.
